Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Phone number — used to create your account and sign you in with a one-time password (OTP) sent over WhatsApp.
• Profile details you choose to add — such as your name, email, city, and photo.
• Location / address — when you search nearby or save an address, to show libraries near you and sort them by distance.
• Booking information — the libraries, seats, plans, and shifts you book, and their status.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our payment gateway (Razorpay). We store the order/booking reference and amount, not your full card details.
• Library-owner information — if you list a library, the business and verification (KYC) details you provide, and the bank account or UPI details you add to receive payouts.
• Device / notification token — to send you booking and account notifications.
• Session information — a device name and activity timestamp for each login, so you can see and revoke active sessions from your account settings.
• Crash and error reports — technical details (device type, app version, and the error itself) automatically captured when the app crashes or hits an error, so we can fix it.

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To show relevant libraries, process bookings, and take payments.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and account notifications.
• To provide support and improve the service.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run SeatX, including:

• Supabase — database and backend.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — sending your login OTP.
• Cloudinary — image hosting.
• Sentry — crash and error monitoring.
• Resend — sending transactional emails (booking receipts, refund confirmations, owner reports).

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the service.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting requirements. Access is restricted and protected by industry-standard safeguards.

You can edit your profile at any time in the app. You can delete your account from the app (Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account); see our Account Deletion page for details on what is removed and what may be retained where required by law.
